Some one called, named William, saying he was trying to collect money for me regarding a Debt. He asked why I haven't been paying. I told him since I'm paying off other debts and the one he is calling about is a newer debt I'm waiting to pay off my old ones. he said hes looking at my credit report and sees i have been paying. then he asks how much am I paying them a month. I told him I set up payments through my bank and I don't remember. he Said your paying money and your telling me you don't know how much you pay. How much do you pay a month? I was like: I just answered that are you calling me a liar? he said, yes i am. I hung up
I keep receiving calls from this number and they will not leave a message. The worst part is they are calling my cell phone. I have no clue what they want from me. I do not owe anyone. I called them back from work and asked who they were and the ignorant woman who answered wouldnt give me any info unless I gave her my name. I refused and said please stop calling my cell phone. Now they are calling my work number and asking for someone by the name of kim. I explained that they have the wrong number and the [***] said "no he didnt that I(he thinks I'm Kim) called from this number". What course of action do I take to make them stop harassing me when they are looking for someone else?
i have received a call from 570-279-4400 at least 2 times a day for the past few days. I picked up the phone today and the guy asked for Mike. Gee there is no Mike here.
