These people called constantly and asked for someone I've never heard of, let alone at my phone number. My cell and land lines are listed as PRIVATE numbers, so how did these scum bags get hold of them? Kept calling even though they were told over and over no one by the name they asked for are at these numbers! I finally ended up having to change my phone numbers just to get away from their constant intruding/harassment at almost all hours and filed a complaint with the FCC.
This is a debt collector and I think that a lot of people on this message board are fibbing just a bit! No one likes debt collectors but hey it's a dirty job but someone has to do it! The woman I spoke with was very professional, polite and understanding. Hey people c'mon you gotta pay your bills and if you don't then you'll have debt collectors up your [***]!
I called the number provided to return calls several times and was directed to switchboard. I kept asking what was the name of the company I was calling and who I was speaking to. They never provided the name of the company, and disconnected the call each time I asked for information about who they were. I asked to speak with a manager and was directed to Rick Webb. He again refused to identify who he worked for, asked me for my full name and last four of my SSN. I declined stating that I would not give such information to a company that will not identify itself. He said this was for my own protection then disconnected the call. If this company is in fact a debt collector why will they not identify themselves as such? Why do they disconnect a call when you ask what company they work for?!? Seemed fishy, and as a victim of identity theft as I explained to them, I will not give out personal information over the phone to a company that will not identify itself. Nor inform me of any rights or monitoring during the call.
