Identified himself as John in the shipping department. Needed info for delivery. They call constantly. I have reported to FCC and PA Attorney General and it just does not stopped.
Thank goodness for Caller ID. I do not answer if I do not know. These people call a lot. If I want something like they are selling I will call them. I do not want them calling me. SCAM SCAM SCAM
I have been receiving calls at least 3 times/wk. Messages are left about receiving a 'free' medical alert system and that someone referred me to them which is an utter falsehood. I finally answered the phone and after being on hold fora minute or so, I finally got a live person. I asked how they got my information as I am on the do-not-call list and they claim I was referred by a friend or I opted in to something or ordered from a website which triggered my number more or less being sold to them. When I started questioning them about the monthly fee for the service (you only get the unit for free), they were unable to give me a dollar amount until I gave them my information. During my conversation with the salesman, I was constantly interrupted. Guess he didn't like my questioning...so he hung up on me! Alsi when I asked for their contact info, he would not give me a telephone number or the website: senioralert.com which forwards to: lifealert.com. I think this company needs to be reported!
I have signed up for the Do-Not-Call system and checked to make sure I was on it. I continue to get these calls and this company should be fined or something for not abiding by this list.
Robo call recorded 06 August 2013 ("Free" Medical and Burglary Alarm system" scam robo call)
Caller ID: "Kingston PA"
These people must have fired "John from shipping" (or is "John" the sacrificial goat for violating the Do Not Call rules?) and now use a new phone number from "Kingston PA" and a lady to inform us we now qualify for a free medical and burglar alert system. They even changed their response codes, zero to speak to a representative, or three to decline this "free" offer, lol...and did I mention how much I like their singular verb that doesn't agree with their plural noun?
