My husband recieved a call at work today from this number..570-438-0002..saying that he had a cash advance and was being sued. Around the same time I got a call from 527-000-40 (not even a legit number) but they left a voicemail looking for my husband saying that they were from the crime unit and he was being investigated and to avoid losing his job..social security..and reputation he needed to contact them and left the 570 number on my voicemail...he said if we did not contact him to have fun with the courthouse. I called the number back and it says please leave your number area code first..My husband told them he would be right on it and to send him something in the mail and to never call him at work again...and hung up. ITS THE HOLIDAYS...PEOPLE NEED TO BE WARNED!!

I am a nursing home resident that has been getting phone calls from this person. On Wed. Nov. 21; I was
called at 7:30 a.m. starting and told I had till 1:00 to make payment. I was told earlier in the week that I was
being suited by a lending company and if I did make payment in time; the cops were coming to the nursing
home for me. Th loan in question was just taken out at end of Oct. Is this company for real because I have
alreadjy sent them $100; after they had my nerves so tore up on Weds.

Don't send them anything more.  Tell them your son/daughter/lawyer/banker has your power of attorney and they'll need to mail the bill to them.  Tell them your kids took away your checkbook because you've been taken in by scammers too many times.  Play the 'doddering old fool' card.
If you gave them a bank account or card number, change it.    Put a fraud alert on your credit file.
If you had a real loan that you remember taking out, call that company if you want to pay it off.
You can't be put in jail for owing money.  If this is a real company with an address you can find, consider suing them.  They have violated your rights under the FDCPA.
