Just got call on answer machine said it was important about money I owed on my account I called the number only to have some lady tell me we can lower your bill she needed my account number hell no hung up scam
Just recieved phone call regarding my energy bill. The message did provide my energy company.
When I called the number back instead of the 800 number that was provided it only offered to be put on the " Do not call list." I waited several minutes just to see if anyone would answer and NOTHING.
This number has been calling nonstop. I answered today, and they asked for the head of household/person in charge of the electric account. I told him that my father was not home, and my mother was busy. He said "I give you permission to run around the house and find your mommy so you can have her talk to me about why she's running the refrigerator so much" and I said "what" and he hung up on me. My mom works for West Penn Power and this is who they are claiming to be. Do NOT give them any information!
