I get 3-5 calls per day from this company looking for someone who does not live here. They leave messages on my machine saying the name of the person they are looking for, and that if this is the wrong number, to please disregard. I have ignored this message, but yet I consistently recieve at leat 3 calls per day from these people. They are using two numbers that have showed up on my caller id, the first being the 718-684-9404 number, but they are also using 570-504-7885, which is a number is PA. These pepople don't seem to understand that they have called a wrong number, and even if you "disregard" as the messages say, they will not stop calling. This has been going on for 3 weeks now. It called my cell phone and left a message. It is looking for someone I don't know, plus I have had the cell number for 5 years.
Message starts:
Please Hang up or disconnect immediately
by remaining on the line you are acknowledging that you are "put name here"
The law requires I notify you that I'm calling from "Oxford management services"
It wants a call to 800-729-4560 with a reference number
This is a "phishing" scheme of some sort. Do not give out any personal information. If you know someone in the law enforcement community notify them and they will tell you what to do
I received a phone call from this number (1-570-504-7885). They said they were from Oxford but did not give me any details about who they were calling for. They asked for my birthdate and when I told them they said I was not the right person.
