This person responded to an ad for a room for rent in Orlando, FL by texting me, "hello". I looked the number up here before calling it back. It was already on here for suspicious calls but with no detailed reports. A male answered and asked how I was. I asked why he texted me. He said in response to the ad for a room and claimed to be in Orlando playing baseball. He asked for my name. I reminded him I am a tenant looking for a replacement tenant, so he didn't need my name. I asked if needed a lease because otherwise... he said, "I just want to know if you're single". I told him no, and then he asked if I knew anyone who was single... I told him no(!) and he hung up. I got a bad vibe from him. Don't know if he's in Orlando, or just in Sunbury, PA, where his cell phone appears to be registered. The ad read college student (my daughter moved out of the room), so guess he thought he was scamming on a 20 yr old, not some bitchy, suspicious mom. I think I'll call his local police department and report him.

Last night I go a Text from the same number 5705568179, "Hi", I ignored it, then early morning the following day, he sent me "Hello" I asked him who is this? he said TRAVIS and asked me who this might be? I didn't wanna provide my name, then I told him I don't know, I have never had a PENNSYLVANIA number. then he claimed that he was just trying to figure out how he had my number and that he was not tryning to be weired about it! Adding that he is in Orlando, FL npw playing baseball!!!
I thought that was weired, went to google typed in his number, go to this website, I was surprised to read the first comment, so I texted him that he needs to stop his texts or else I will report him to the police, I also told him that this is not the first time u try scam people with ads in craigslist...
I received a text message that said Hello. I just placed a classified ad in a local newspaper. I said who is this? He said "I'm Travis...who are u? lol". I said sorry don't know any Travis'. He said "Well what is your name?" I did not answer, so then he replied again "??". Have not heard for more than an hour, hopefully the idiot gave up.
