Y'know, when I bought a car back in the day, I couldn't get a warranty on it to save my own life. Now I have jokesters from 17 different parts of the country trying to force one on me.
got multiple calls from this number claiming my warranty was about to expire, "press 1 to be connected to..." so I finally did to ask to be removed. The first time I was connected to an amazingly rude woman who was upset that I was bothering HER and she hung up on me. Got another call today and again "pressed 1" and some guy came on, sounded drunk, and started asking me all sorts of phishing questions. When I asked to connected to a manger after telling him I was not going to give him any info he agreed to do so and I was connected to a guy who asked me "if I wanted to find Jesus". At which point I told him what he was doing was actually breaking a bunch of laws claiming to know my warranty was expiring and using that for phishing, and he said he could only help me if I knew who the 36th president was. With that I decided enough is enough and I started exploring who these fraudulent conspirators are and want to shut them down.
