They call all the time even after telling them not to. The person they are looking for is not here. They still call. I had the number blocked but they still call every day. They are worse then a telemarketer.
Have asked this company several times to stop calming me. They said they would, bit still call and call. This will be my last effort to ask them to stop calling. Any calls after this I'll contact bbb Agnes general attorneys office both in my state and the state for this number

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

just got a call from USCB and i dont even know what kind of company this is. They gave me a number to contact to get my phone number removed and then said on the machine that if i was not "name" then i should not listen further in this message but if i am 'name' then i need to make sure that no one could hear the message because it contains private business matter information. The number is 570-803-0360 x 112 some lady name Judy. I am not calling her back because i am not sure who and what this call is about. If they want to contact me they can look and find my mailing address and send me paper in the mail. I refuse to call folks these days that i dont know. People can scam you and i am not going to be scammed.
I get about 30 calls from collection agencies and telemarketers daily trying to get ahold of the woman who had my phone number previously, and yours is one of them. I have repeatedly informed your agents that the woman they're looking for has changed her phone number, and I have no idea who she is, and to remove my number from their lists. I've done it so much that I now know that it's pointless to do so. And I'm not about to call that number above and have it sold to third party telemarketers...I get enough of those as it is, and asking them to remove my number from their lists is just as ineffective as it has proved to be with you.
The person you replied to posted here a year and half ago and probably not only has never been back, but doesn't care what you told him verbally. Read the very informative posts on the second page and learn what you need to know to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter. A written letter is the only legal and valid way of communicating, and the advantage it has is that it creates a paper trail giving you the proof you need to sue them.
