Called my number and saying they needed to serve papers to my father in law and i was listed as a primary contact. I told them I wasn't my father in law and that they didn't want him to have further fines. They wanted me to write down a number. I was in the car and asked them to call me back and leave a voice mail. She asked me to pull over, I said i am not pulling over and don't have a pen to write down information. After she asked the 5th time I said just call me back and leave the information on my messages. Hung up and didn't call me back
This is a scam phone call from a man with Indian accent. They have called my work, and cell number several times. Something about litigation, and need to call 877 number or judge will sign off on papers blah blah blah. SCAM! This isn't how our legal system works here in the good ol' USA!

They are contracted by a debt collector ANCA Groups. http://www.ancagroups.com/Contact-Us.html What is funny is when you call ANCA groups they tell you no civil suit has been filed despite the people they contract with to call you saying the opposite. ANCA Groups is not profesional at all. I tried explaining to them that this debt is outside of the statue of limitations but of course they claim otherwise. Since they threatened legal action and have not actually filed it they have actually violated the law and I have reported them to the FTC, Consumer Protection Finanical Bureau, and the Better Business Bureau. I suggest others do the same!
This number called and didn't leave a message. Caller ID indicated "Scranton PA." I have been receiving several calls from debt collectors because a relative put us down as a family reference. I just block these calls n they go away for awhile.
