This place has been calling my house at least one or twice a day for the last week. It comes up on my caller ID as Retention Dept. I don't know who they are, or what they want. I see that someone on here said the call is from a company to switch your electric service. Why would I want to do that, only to save a couple pennies. I will just continue to not answer the calls, and maybe they will go away.
They just called my house, nothing came up on caller id & I didn't recognize the # at all, so I googled it & found my way here. I don't know anyone in Scanton Pa, or anywhere in NE PA.
I just received a call from this number. Caller ID said 'out of area'. I did not answer. They Left a recorded message and part of the beginning of the recording was cut off. All that was left was press the number for a representative (forget the number said). I thought recorded phone calls were illegal. ?
This is a company trying to get you to switch your electric service provider. If you are on the Federal Do Not Call List, file a complaint with

Received 3 calls today from "Retention Dept" who left a vm without any message. I called the number back and got an an option to add my number to their 'do not call list'. The message states it will take 48 hours. We shall see. BTW my number is already on the National DNC list, so I don't understand why I have to give it again.
