I've reported and reported and reported to donotgov and nothing. I don't think anyone even reads the complaints. so in the meanwhile, guess we have to put up with these intrusions.
They have called more than once in the last couple of weeks if I don't answer they don't leave a message. I made a mistake and picked it up and it was something about switching power companies - press a number to speak to someone - never said who they are.
I called the number on my private line and they said to press a number to be removed from the calling list - this whole thing sounds suspicious to me.
I reported it to the don not call site: donotcall.gov
Received a call from this number - caller I.D. is "Help Dept" - Help Department for what????? They left no message. When I tried to call back an automated message asks if I would like to be placed on a "do not call list" and to allow 48 hours for the request to be processed. If I am already registered on the "do not call list", then how are these people getting away with this?
