Not quite sure why Sallie Mae would hire a someone to make debt collecting calls from their home with a personal phone number when they have call centers. Plus, there is no shred of evidence in that craigslist posting that he owns the Sallie Mae number. They have the same exchange code, whoopty doo. If that were the case, every 570 number that has the 344 exchange code would belong to me.
said Sallie Mae to me...weirdly enough I make payments but all is already squared away...why calling me??? I said nothing they left a "msg" with my breathing....not sure what to make of it
Started getting this number calling me 3 days ago...no one answers the line when i said hello....once they called yesterday 4/14, i had a little fun with them back...starting to get annoying now....
I have received many of these calls and never answered any until today. They said they were from Sallie Mae calling about a student loan. I replied with as many profanities as I could think of. Hopefully they'll quit calling. I've learned that someone with the same name as mine has an unpaid debt, but it's not me and I get tired of having to pick up my phone and stop working.
