Received text "You just won a free $1000 Walmart Gift Card, enter "FREE" at http://promocenter.ws/walmart". I figured it was a scam but wanted to see what would happen when I clicked on the link. A webpage comes up asking to "like us on facebaook". As if I would! What a scam!
Received a txt message from this # stating that I won a $1000 gift card from Walmart, enter "FREE' @ http://promocent.ws/walmart
Checked out the website given & there is no information about this "company" just shows Get a Free $1,000 Walmart Gift Card with a countdown clock - Like us on Facebook, a place to put your code & continue - Don't have a code - continue -- Then the name promocenter.ws by cliking continue you are agreeing to our Privacy Policy Unsubscribe & a counter or whatever it is in a red box at the bottom -
figure it's nothing but a scam to get your personal info & credit card #'s
Mad me mad because I couldn't use my phone until the message was displayed & this deducted minutes from my time I paid for -
WHY CAN"T THESE PEOPLE BE STOPPED -
