Nothing of real value, just another phishbot doing its thing to annoy. Please don't call this number back. It just gives them more phodder and most likely you'll get more calls like it in the future.
As for the Do-Not-Call registry seems like that just gives the phishbots a list of working numbers.
Obtw Verizon-South (CONTEL) since you are the provider of the number isn't there something that Verizon-South can do to prevent annoying phone calls that emanate from your lines?
This company has called me 3 times in 2 days. First they asked for a "Heather", told them they had the wrong number. They called back and hung up when I answered. The next day they called and hung up so I *69'd the number and spoke to some woman in Canada. She told me she was looking for a Donna Cooper and asked if I knew her. I told her yes and that she is my ex-husbands wife and she lives in FL not in the state I now reside. I kept asking her how she got my phone number and she said it came up in her computer. I asked her how that was possible when I just got this number and haven't been in contact with the person she is looking to find for more than 25 years. All she kept saying is we will take your number out of the computer. She refused to answer how they got my number in the first place.

I have gotten numerous calls from this company from different phone numbers. They are a scam collection agency. I have looked it up, and I received correspondence in the mail from them. They are violating laws by calling constantly and on nights and weekends. Reporting them does no good, as they just change the number they are calling from.
I sent a letter in the mail back to them telling them to stop calling, and advising that I am filing bankruptcy.They should have received the letter by last Friday, yet I am still the calls.
I already have a payment plan set up with Capital One, the business they claim to represent.
From what I've seen online, they collect money for the credit card company, but they don't turn it in to them, then you end up having to pay twice. Beware.
