Caller ID says "Assist", yet no one speaks when I answer, they just hang up. Sam as above, when I called back I got a recording that asks if I'd like to be placed on the do-not-call list, press 1 now. Which of course is permission for them to call you even more, right?? ;-) Blocked the number...
They just called our business, robocaller wanting to handle our Google account. Crazy thing is, now they've started calling our HOME too and I have no idea how they even got that number. They've also called us from 682-305-0799. Per CallerComplaints.com (http://www.callercomplaints.com/SearchResult.aspx?Phone=571-279-8054):
Caution, 571-279-8054 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.
This number called today, just like 25 other spammers called today. Once your number is out there, it gets recycled to every lowlife who will try to sell you Viagra, home loans, business loans, adult diapers, and what not.
