called stated they were the  IRS & wanted my attorney name for a pending lawsuit

Yes, we received the same message yesterday.  Tried to call the number from my office (just for grins) but only got a busy signal.  The person on the message identified himself as "Officer James Anderson" with a heavy Hispanic accent.

I received the same call from a person identifying himself as "Officer James Anderson" from the IRS. This person also had a heavy accent.

Same received message from a man identifying self as James Anderson IRS OFFICER calling about pending lawsuit.  Line is busy or rings and then hangs up

Same call.  Hispanic accent. Says I'm in serious tax evasion problems.  Really?
