This is clearly a scam. They claim they are calling to inform me about a law suit the IRS has instituted against me for tax fraud. When asked for the callers ID, she responded with Lisa Isaacs and gave an ID number - sounded almost real except I could hear the other callers in the background and "Lisa's" English left a lot to be desired, especially her ability to pronounce common names, first and last. I asked to speak to a supervisor and "Lisa" said she was a supervisor. I asked to speak to her immediate supervisor and she hung up.
Please go one the IRS web site to report scams ( https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml ) If enough people do, they may actually might look into this scam.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Received calls from this as well as another one. Left message informing me that I have a law suit from the IRS. I pay taxes and am a CPA, so no tax fraud has happened! FRAUD!!
