Called again today and actually came on the line. Individual was looking for donations to some statewide police fund for fallen officers. Do not know if it was legit but respectfully declined as I support my local Sheriff's Department.
At my house we have received two calls. The person using a booming voice identifies as a policeman requesting donation for a police fund association. When we asked to send something in the mail the caller replied, sorry you feel that say maybe another time. CERTAINLY A SCAM.
I am getting the calls from 571-364-0381 almost every day soliciting some donations for Police Department. It is embarrassing to answer them. This is a SCAM!!
