This person called me and said he was from a drug enforcement agency and I was being investigated.
Very harrassing. I hung up on him when there was no google match.
Just received a call from someone saying they were from the DEA and asked how long I had been receiving drugs on the black market. They gave my old work address as the place where they intercepted a package addressed to me. I haven't worked there in 5-years. The guy sounded Asian.
I just got the same call!! This is such BS dude, it's got to be a scam. I wish there was a way to report them for impersonating a DEA agent. This guy had me all worked up for a minute until red flags started going off everywhere, like the fact that he was going to transfer me to someone who could tell me where I could go pay my fine at, and also when I had returned the call, a man answered stating I had reached the office of the DEA and when I asked to speak to James Miller (the man who left the message), he put me on hold and the same vioce came back to the phone stating he was James Miller, WTH!!!
It is an extortion scam, and hopefully people will not fall victum to this. I called 1-877-792-2873 to report the caller and give as much information about the call to hopefully help stop this person from trying to scam anyone else.
