Another "fraternal order of police" donation scam. But this time the deep voice asked for my name. Found that a bit uncomfortable. Just hung up as his speech began.
This guy calls and calls under so many numbers over the past two years that I've lost track. I didn't know who this was (even though he's been blocked now on my caller block box) until K.R. said a deep male voice asked for her by name. Now I know who it is. He also uses this police front. He's a persistent and endless pest caller. This morning with this 571 number, I got 7 calls with different spam numbers within a one-minute period. I blocked one, another called, blocked it immediately from ringing and another one a few seconds later--all different spoof numbers. This guy is beyond creepy. For two years at least he's been calling my number and saying in a guttural voice, "XXX? Is XXX there? XXXX, pick up the phone, XXXXX." I'm back on his caller list this week evidently, and he's been calling and calling. He is relentless and I've probably blocked hundreds of his calls over the past couple of years under endless spoof numbers.
