I recently filled out an online inquiry about health insurance. This number has called me 9 times in the last seven days. Only a beep when I answer. I finally called the number back (which made me very apprehensive due to the number of scams) and a recording advised I can dial "1" to discontinue the calls.
This auto-bot tactic of calling someone with no one on the other line is intrusive. I have to call the number back in order for the calls to cease.
Been getting calls from them for the past two weeks. Finally called back and actually talked to a real person. I asked to be removed from their call list. The woman asked if I had insurance and I told her that I already did and she politely told me that I would be taken off their list and wished me a happy holiday. Hopefully that worked to stop the calls.
