Caller ID "SSI" asked if I was a working for political campaign. strange

Just after this call - two more calls came in from 573-362-3054 also with CID of "SSI". went to VM and no message left.

SSI = Survey Sampling International. According to their website they do market research and opinion polls with no attempts to sell goods or services or refer you to someone else who will. As such they are exempt from screening against the DNC list before calling. They are required to maintain an internal DNC list but you have to use the link in their website to "opt out" of future calls.

Phone rang and no one on the other end.  Eventually disconnected

Have gotten multiple calls from "SSI" even though I've asked them to stop calling. Not clear on what they wanted as I don't let them talk long enough to say. Last call was a no-talk harassment call (I guess).
