An actual Process Server is not going to have any conversation with you about any debt you owe, nor will they demand payment from you. If something like this happens, immediately call local law enforcement and make a full report including as much descriptive information as you can give them of the person impersonating a court officer.
Received voice mail messages from the above number on 5/8/15,5/9/15 and 5/10/15. My mother was also called on 5/8/15 and 5/9/15 regarding this "claim". When I received a call on 5/11/15, I was told that the company was Global Solutions. However on 5/8/15 and 5/9/15 when a message was left for me, I was informed that this person worked for the State of Indiana in the pre trial processing department. I was also informed on the phone call that "I was legally and officially being served". I was also told that my time to settle outside of court had expired. On 5/11/15, I spoke the the employee who was contacting me. I was told on 5/11/15 that I had a claim against me and that I needed to pay $600 today. I asked for documentation in the mail that I owe this money. I was told that they do not send any documentation in the mail due to "security purposes". I told them that if I was being sued, then I wanted documentation in the mail. Again, I was told that they do not send mail. The person informed me that they would start legal proceedings with the County Clerk's office. I told her I already contacted them and they ran my name and there was no cases for this against me. I also told her that the Clerk's office told me not to pay. The individual got mad and said that I needed to pay this money or my wages would be garnished. Again I asked for written documentation and she said they only emailed and that would be after I made my payment. She said that I should not be raising my voice at her. I then asked her to remove a certain phone number from my account. I told her that they were informed I no longer lived there and they continued to call. She said she wasn't the only one working the account and she can't help who calls. Again I asked for the specific number to be removed. She hung up on me.
