They call the office constantly and I keep asking them to remove us from their database and to stop calling us. Unfortunately, they keep calling. It is always someone with a heavy accent.
This number keeps calling to update a free on line business listing. 9-8-10 it was Michael with a foreign sounding voice and 9-9-10 it was Steve. Michael said it was to update a free on line business listing. There was one error in info being confirmed and they will not make a correction unless you provide them with your first and last name. Not knowing who they are I refused to provide my last name.
When Steve called today I asked him the name of the company and he said Online Business Listings. When I told him that Michael called yesterday and I googled the phone number nothing came up. As I was in mid sentence he hung up. Sure sounds like a scam to me.
I found the number listed for another company and called them and they used to be in that state with that number 2 years ago but no longer have the number. They said they would try to do a reverse phone look up to find out who now has this number.
