Same here - received a phone call from this number. The caller did not leave any message.
If I don't recognize the Caller I.D., I never answer and let the call go to the answering machine. 99% of the calls don't leave a message. The rare legit call from someone I know gets a call back. This works fine for me.
Just rec'd a call from: 574-293-1090. I answered the phone (usually no one is ever home during the daytime) so I was curious and answered the phone.
I said hello, waited, no one was there and it was totally silent. I again said hello and waited... then I heard a "clicking" sound from the other end of the call in which followed by me hearing loud back ground noise, it was lots of people talking at same time, as if it was coming from a call center setting. A guy finally said-Hi, Hello there... And I just kept hearing all the loud people talking in the back ground which I knew wasn't the right call to us for anything so I hung up. They called our "home #, no one ever calls our home line, they would call our cells, we mainly use the home phone it for faxing purposes only.
This was like an "auto- robot" calling program used to dial multiple numbers and then if a human answers they start trying to talk into the line.
Honestly, I don't know & don't care what this call could have been about! If it was a true urgent matter, we would have called on our cells or by our email on our cellphones.
We know for sure this call & this phone # (574) 293-1090 is SPAM!!!
Additionally, we are & have been on the Do Not Call list. I also renew all of our numbers as often as required BUT it doesn't seem to work or stop the spam and junk calls anymore!!!!
