Tail end of a canned sales message caught this morning by voice mail. It's delivered by a female who grins her way through a saccharine performance. Transcript: "... your car has less than one hundred fifty thousand miles, press 'three' NOW. Or, if you would like your number on the DNC, press 'seven'."
So we have a vehicle service contract pusher breaking the Telemarketing Sales Rule and Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They like to call it "extended warranty", but that's a misnomer. The targeted phone number lit up with these creeps almost as soon as I obtained it this month. I heard the same above cited recording last week from a dialer displaying a Pennsylvania number. Both numbers were issued by the VOIP carrier Neutral Tandem, same as a related call a couple weeks ago using a Colorado number.
I have some others this month in the same sales category but using other VOIP carriers and at least once deploying a soundboard rather than prompting for a keypress. The dots to connect are below. A business name I've yet to determine.
