Claim to be calling from NCG(?) Consulting about a vague unnamed complaint implying legal action will be taken against me if the call is not returned; script was verbatim from other scam voicemails I received a few months ago from another Oklahoma number (918-791-0540) claiming to be from Howard & Stern - I still had those messages saved and was able to compare them. I just received a phone call from NC and spoke with Holly Barret. She told me that she was a lawyer representing the Riley Corp. I asked what this was about and she told me that in 2012 I took out a large on line loan and when they submitted the achievement debit to my bank, it was denied. They are suing me for $5000.00 and my state my remand me to jail on a wire fraud charge. I have never committed any such act. It was scary how they have my address and even knew my bank name. I asked her to send me the information and that I would give it to my attorney but she just wanted my attorneys name.
I got the same call saying there was a complaint against me and I needed to seek legal counsel. Seriously there wanting to scare people out of money ! #thieves
