They call 2 to 3 times a day and never leave a message. I tried calling back from another phone they can't trace, and got a recording saying, "If you'd like to be placed on the Do-Not-Call list, press '1' now". I pressed one and was hung up on immediately. It was my impression they could not have noted my call back number that fast, so I think they're just shining you on when they say they have a Do Not Call list... plus I'm already on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL list!
If they're a legitimate business, they need to come on 800Notes.com and leave a note confirming who they are and whether or not they're committed to not calling back when people ask to be removed.
Didn't recognize this number so didn't answer. An internet search shows the number belongs to an Oklahoma woman who provides transportation for rescue dogs for charity. I'm in a state no where near her and have nothing to do with anything like this. Possibly a misdial? Or she's cancelled her number and it was assigned to someone else who's using it to telemarket?
ATT Home Security ... they want to install a new wireless system and upgrade your landline. She (Nicole) was quite rude when I told her I was a renter. Hopefully that will remove me from their database :-)
