Received a text message from this number with inappropriate pictures. Texted back I wasn't interested. Blocked the number then I started receiving text messages from a person claiming to be the father and that I had been texting his 15 year old son. He said that he wanted to talk to me man to man and work something out. I called the guy and he said his wife had found his sons phone and that she was going to press charges the next morning. He said all he wanted to do was take his son back to North Carolina and that if I would help him he would stop her from pressing charges. I told him I had done nothing wrong and that u would not pay a dime. He continues to text me saying I needed to pay him $1750.00. I blocked the number and contacted the FBI, as well as my local sherif department and filed a complaint. I even called the police department where this number is located. The FBI said this is a common scan and my sherif deputy said that these people use phone spoofers to appear that they are calling from any area they wish. Said not to respond or reply and that eventually they go away. All I did was use the app Grindr and sent my number to a 26 year old.

Your welcome. The number has already been disconnected. No doubt an ip number. I feel sorry for the people that actually pay him. the problem is these voice ip numbers are plentiful on the App Store and the Google store and they aren't traceable. I told the guy to go $&&@ himself as well as making a full complaint with the authorities because I did nothing wrong. I feel sorry for the people they are extorting because for a moment, this guy made me feel like I was an inch tall.
This is a new twist on the underage girl scam being run by or on POF. In the future, simply forward unwanted texts to 7726 so that your carrier will block them
