Calling me in the early morning and I have no tolerance for this. It now says SR SVCS, which is one I have seen before. Call is now blocked on my tone. Every single day it seems that I get one of these. It also seems like I am among the first several ppl to document it here on 800 notes.
I think they change the phone #'s daily: I rec'd. this same call yesterday, but from a different phone #.
'hello seniors'...they want to 'give away' (yea right) some products to 'seniors'. press 1 for more information..press 5 to opt out. I pressed 5 to opt out at least 4 times now...but they still call. this time I pressed 1 to speak to someone. complained and they told me that some one loved gave them my phone #...huh!!!!....this has to stop...they want to know if you are on medicare...have health insurance, etc. I feel so sorry for anyone falling for this 'bull'. Please, please if its for 'free' something is very wrong here.
I did not answer. These sorts of calls are always some type of scam.
Call or send an email to your senators and US. Rep asking them to force the telephone companies to start blocking robo calls, or at least provide people the option to have such calls blocked.
Today, the number came in 580-447-0293. Yesterday they called from 510-556-5117 and I answered the phone. They started by saying they were offering a free special promotion, and at that point, I said I was not interested and to please not call me again. A lot of good that did as they turned around and called me today from 580-447-0293. I think Congress needs to pass a law to fine the telephone companies for their not cooperating in putting a stop to these scam artists.
