When I said I was much too busy to deal with political issues today the call ended quickly. Guessing that if I'd bitten on the bait even a bit I'd have been hit up, probably aggressively, for $. Just a guess...
CID shows 'CONTACT CENTER' # 580-857-0795. A week ago this call came in as 'CONTACT CENTER' # 573-722-2023.
Guess there's more than one contact center out there. I never answer these calls and don't use my answering machine or voice mail any more either. It usually rings 4 or 5 times then hangs up.
I got a call from this number and the person wouldn't speak and leave a message on my machine but they stayed on the line and I could hear them. The caller id said "Out of Area" so this has to be a scammer. 580 area code is Oklahoma and a trace came back as Allen, OK and AT&T Southwest service provider. A definite scam call so block if you can and report them.
Just say "9-1-1, what's your emergency?" Click, if its a human. Actually felt sorry for the guy from India, Malaysia, wherever! He called back so I said it again. Click. Good luck!
