Called 3x today in less than 5 hrs. Answered on 3rd after googling #. Identified as DEGREE MATCH. Asked for unknown person & ended call when I said no one here by that name. I said remover this # from list & she replied "Ok, no problem" Blocked # so guess I'll never know.
Received three (3) calls in two hours, I did not recognized the number so I did not answer any of them. I suspect it must be a "robo" call. I blocked the number.

I got the same call from a live person from the Degree Match company asking for 'Amy' . They were courteous when I said they had the wrong number and then hung up. At first I thought this was an innocent wrong number, but these other messages suggest that this could be more than that. If this was not a mistake, not sure what they might have been trolling for (unless perhaps to verify that they had a 'live' number). I wouldn't normally think twice about this except that I've been barraged the past couple of years with countless predatory robocalls with a wide range of scams. It is rare for me to find someone who is not targeted by these illegal scam calls.
