Occasional calls from this number, usually several weeks apart. Answering machine always clicks on, they always hang up, and they never leave a message. I just don't know which specific scam this is, although I have no reason to think it's anything else. Of course, I'm DNC registered. As I'm also within the '585' area code, it appears on the caller I.D. display to be a legitimate local caller. Very clever on their part. Legitimate? Then why not, just for once, leave a message? Unwanted call from 585-318-0007, left it for the answering machine to pick up , no message left. Identification noted as CVG Dept.. No message left behind, can't be that terribly important. Probably best NOT to answer.
