This number called 4 times today and looked local. Didn't answer but decided to call back out of curiosity. No greeting, just a female saying "I was calling for Michael". Hung up and called back again. Male this time but he said the exact same thing. I said you have the wrong number and he apologized. I've been getting strange spam-like texts for months also addressed to Michael. I must have his old number. It didn't feel like a collection agency. They'll usually argue and ask all sorts of questions when you say they have the wrong number. But who knows..
I keep receiving multiple calls from this number, but I have been ignoring until today. "Hello Mary, I am calling about the auto insurance quote you requested online" I told him I did not request one, he asked if I had a spare moment to get a quote. I said no, please remove.... and before I could finish, he hung up.
