caller gave an id badge number said needed to call suggested it could be a legal matter ,said call the number back

When you call and leave a phone no. And suggest reply or going to court, you could have the courtesy to extend your blabber mouth and say what this is regarding. This just happened to someone i know, and it is a nasty way to do business. And you could leave a name the name of the company you work for and more detailed message. I have no desire to gert an answer. This is just bull crap. What happened to courtesy??????????

What could have possibly led you to believe that person who posted that (and was reporting the call that they got) was calling you?
