called it back from a work phone, says pioneer debt recovery.  I told them I didnt even have a social.  Blocking them.

I received an unsolicited call from 585-785-3889 number at 3:55 p.m. PDT on March 20, 2017. I didn't answer. The 585 area code is in the Rochester, New York area. There's no reason someone should be calling me from there, especially at 6:55 p.m. EDT.

Received several calls from this #, always hangs up. Blocking!

I've received several unsolicited calls from this number within the last week, sometimes back to back. Caller ID says the call is from Rochester, New York. When I do answer they have always hung up. However, this morning a woman asked for ((unknown man's name)). I told her she had the wrong number and she very unprofessionally said, "well, I don't know what its about" and hung up. This has cause me to become very suspicious.

This is a call for a debt collecter for student loans.  This is a legit debt collector.
