sometimes they leave a message from Mich. Assn. of Retired Public Employees, which I've never been. Other times they don't leave a mess. They call several times a day, just about everyday. This is getting very annoying to say the least...Sometimes it from unknown caller and other times it's Financial Services..

Michigan Administration of retired public employees?
Public employee....retired.... So another way of saying they are looking for someone that is older, elderly and retired. Public just means anyone who is retired.
They ask if you will be home at a specific time on a specific day to receive your benefits services and package.
Received this call a short while ago - did not recognize the number, so did not answer. THANKS for the prior posts; we won't answer if they call again. Will report to the DO NOT CALL Registry immediately.
Got call from this # again today, no message left. Get these almost every other day with them never leaving a message. I never answer unless I know who it is, but it sure gets aggravating when someone's trying to sleep!
Finally answered--same scam as mentioned above. Wanted to know if we'd be home at a certain time on a certain date to drop off "free" benefits package. Told her we are on DO NOT CALL list and not to call again. There is no such thing as "free"--just want to get into your home and try and sell you something like Life Alert or Identity Theft Insurance. They never give up!
They claim to want to deliver benefits to retired Michigan public employees. It's a scam. They want to know when you will be home to take deliver. Sounds like they're looking for empty homes to rob.
