They just called me and they started asking questions , I asked them to intrduce themselvesf first and the answer was do u have some one who speaks better english, I had to swear left and right on her she hanged up , i called them back and asked them to remove my number from there list or I will have to report them to the police. they said the already did , so I am not sure what will happen
The Statue of Limitations expired on any alleged Debt I may have owed well over 10 Years ago. Why are you threatening to call my employer and take me to court on debt that is not actionable and no longer on my credit report?
They probably paid less than 1 Tenth of 1 cent on the dollar of the (alleged) debt but you want me to pay for the original amount I may have owed the Original Creditor? That just doesn't seem fair to line your pockets with money I don't owe you so you can make a fat profit. GTFOH.
It's almost akin to a Loan Shark loaning you money and then wanting over 1000% percent of the original amount. This practice should be illegal.
Example: I paid $3.00 for a 15 year old debt that was originally $1500 so now I want you to pay me $1,497 more than I paid for your old debt. Really, kick rocks.
I'm thinking about reporting them to the Attorney General and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
