Have been receiving calls from these number at various times of the day. It is a credit card company supposedly. automated call from Card Services, a female voice saying you may be eligible for 0% interest on your credit card. Press 1 to speak to someone, press 2 to remove your number. Pressing 2 appears to do nothing. Seems it is just a spammer call. My number is unlisted and has been for several years. Must be a computer generated list of various numbers.
Calls and doesn't leave a message. Likely the same spammer that uses 403-938-3770 (This number still shows up with the name of a person who passed away a few years ago... how scummy of the spammers, but unsurprising, that they would try to trick people this way). Both numbers appear to be from Alberta (but they could be spoofed, of course), and call centre sounds can be heard from both when the answering machine picks up.
Since our current phone number is new, and unlisted, this is likely an illegal robo-call that just dials all numbers until it gets some hits. The RCMP needs to get on this.
Automated call from Card Services, British-sounding female voice saying due to recent legislation you may be eligible for 0% interest on your credit card. Press 1 to speak to someone, press 2 to remove your number. Pressing 2 appears to do nothing. We really need a scam category in the call type list.
this number phoned my home as well but i phoned it back and it says "Marc Lopes" attorney at law! it is an alberta number and its mailbox cant take any more messages
