I'm not sure who these guys are or what they wanted as they partially knew my name! As I didn't recognize the number and they did not introduce themselves, I just replied, no one here by that name and hung up. I hate telemarketers but scam calls even more and I believe these guys are scammers. When I looked up the number the name is hidden for privacy, if it is a legit company it would not be hidden. When I re-dialled no company name was mentioned, just how can I help you, so again pointing to scammers. When you search up the number Iristel Inc, shows up and there is a lot of numbers associated with scams with Iristel. My suggestion, either ignore the number if you don't know it or pick it up and say you got the wrong number.
Don't know what this number is for. I dialled *67 and called them back. It rings several times and then goes to a busy signal. Likely a poll or telemarketers. I have them blocked now
I have got calls from these people twice this week. They call themselves "calgary monitoring group". The first time it came up a different number. This guy was completely rude! I told him I was not interested and he was yelling over me saying he was just calling to make upgrades to my current system. I kept saying goodbye and he kept yelling at me. When I hung up I called the number back and it went to a private residence. He called again today but this number came up on caller I'd. When I answered he said "hello, mrs. L...it calling monitoring calling you back, I spoke to you a couple of days ago". At that point I lost it. I told him to never call back and called him every curse word I could think of! These people are idiots!
