a guy named terry schofield texted me with this number saying he wants to buy my car! im from quebec he say he live in united states but the number is from alberta ... so i'm pretty sure it is a scam... be carefull
This is a scam. I just go the same txt from a so-called Terry Scofield who claims to be a Marine Engineer working in the US. Total scam. I live in QC and selling my car and he pull the same things on me. To be reported! Thanks for your Post Simon!
We just got the same guy text us about an item we have on kijiji but instructed us to continue the conversation via email. His name wasTerry and he's also a marine engineer. Wants to pay full price plus some so we can send his shipper in Nigeria payment through western union. It is obviously a scam but I can't help but wonder, if he's paying through pay pal how can he rob us?
I'm selling an item on kijiji as well and received a text from this number. He offered $200 more than I am asking. He then asked for my pay pal info. I was also wondering how he can scam if paying through pay pal. He sent me a nice long email about buying for his daughter in west Africa, that he works offshore and the phones are currently down so he is unable to call.
Just happened to myself also, so called terry is saying he wants to buy my guitar and amp for 100$ more then my price for his daughter in africa. He cant come look at it due to his job and his location so he will have a personal courier come and get it after the payment goes threw........ yeah ok........ ! Crazy Scams !!!!
