I got this phone number as a text offering to buy "my vehicle" and pay an extra 1000.  (Yeah right) if I respond to email [email protected] ASAP ... Scared I will get computer hacked or email sold to spam company? My truck is listed with cell on kijiji

A Paypal scam. Person will offer you more (which they did), then want your Paypal information. They'll also buy the vehicle sight unseen - and who does that? Sign up for a free email address, & tell them to come over & look at it. They'll be on the next bus from Asia, unless they have to transfer from Africa.

just received the same message from 1-587-779-8895  with the same email address.

I just received the same msg offering to pay an extra 1000 if I respond right away too. My car is listed on kijiji as well. I tried to check into the cell number and it shows it as a new York cell number.
