Just like the above, got a call from 1-857-881-3933. Person named William called from "National Debit Card Network" saying someone is in the area and want to meet with us to give us a lower rate. I politely declined and ask for him to remove our number from their calling list. The guy just hung up without saying anything. As the above guy said, this company's website is a joke. Don't bother with them.
Solicitors calling from "National Debit Card Network". Google them... their website is terrible. How can anyone take these people seriously? My scammer radar was going off for sure. Underhanded, sneaky caller wanting to "lower my debit card fees". I asked if from Moneris (my provider), she said no. I told her to bugger off. I received six of these "sort of calls" just yesterday... getting real sick and tired of this.

Some rude fast talking woman said it was very urgent and a serious matter regarding mandatory changes in merchant accounts by the government..... she asked if anyone has contacted us about this yet.
She said she must speak to the owner. I said I am the owner and she said she needs to verify that I am actually the owner.
So I asked her what company she works for and she said "corporate office at NB something Deutche bank...."
I asked her to repeat that for me and she said with frustration "oh just forget it" and rudely hung up on me.
I would definitely not trust this number. I don't know why these people think it is okay to call random businesses and demand to verify if I am the owner, not to mention to disturb my busy day.
