Someone uses this number for kijiji scams for auto parts. You post an ad lookIng for say a transmission. He contacts you and says he has one or more and has a truck heading in your direction right away and pressures you to e-tran sfer funds. Sent email with subject " purchase order from ______ ________ Auto Parts". (I've left out the name used. I called them this morning and they don't sell used parts. They are aware of the scammer and are in contact with the police. ) The email is sent from is a personal address and the address he wants the transfer sent to is the same name with a different number. He said it's his accountant. When I Google the name plus kijiji I found others who had been scammed by him using a different number. Fortunately that was before my elderly father sent him $500.
