I've been called two days in a row by this number, A foreign accent telling me he works with a medicare company. I aksare you with Medicare? he says I work with a Medicare provider. I ask what do you want? He says according to my record I have a pain in my back. The first time I told him I don't have a pain in my back, he seemed to want to convince me I did. So I hung up on him. Today the same guy called with the same routine, and I grilled him more about who he worked for, same story, a medicare provider. He started up AGAIN about his records show I have a pain in my back. I told him I DON'T have a pain in my back, but I've got a pain in my [***] from all these phony phone calls. He got indignant, I then hung up on him.
Caller with a very strong accent......said he was from Medicare....Ha!....said records show I hadn't purchased my medical alert yet. He had to repeat it 3 times before I understood him. I told him I didn't need one. I wonder what it would have cost to buy one......probably a $2,000 gift card.
