I keep getting calls from a 601-345-3355 saying he is a law firm and I am being sued for a loan that was transferred into my account and when they tried taking the money back they couldn't and I needed to pay it back or I would be arrested. He told me to go pull out money and get a green dot money pak card then read him the numbers. He even called my employer and she told him to stop harrassing me and he cussed her out. Is this for real or a scam?

Obviously, it's a scam. Law firms do not give you a call out of the blue and say you're being sued. You'd get a notice in the mail from them. Debt is civil, not criminal, so no, you are NOT going to be arrested. In fact, it's a violation of federal law to threaten people with arrest for defaulting on a loan.
Please do report your caller to the FTC - www.ftc.gov, the FBI - www.fbi.gov, and your state's Attorney General (you can find him/her here - www.naag.org). Whatever you do, do NOT give them any personal information, banking information or send them money - your callers are nothing but common or garden scamming thugs.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.
For extortion Scam Operations, file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..
Yeah I received the same repeated ohone calls from this number and when I blocked them they called from a 401 number. And when you dont answer their calls they call you on an emergency number to act like they are the police. I did research on the law firm they claim they are representing and that law firm is for people who have been in accidents and have gotten hurt and is ran by a Caucasian men in Mississippi, not Middle eastern men and women asking for money and to put it on a green dot money pak or you will be arrested and put in jail for 21 days. I reported them to the FBI.

Calling from a company trying to extend auto warranty, they're extremely annoying!! Have verbally informed them several times to stop calling and declined the offer! They are relentless calling from a different number every time!
