same as above....it's an investigation firm....very strange, I called them back with no answer on the other end.
The guy said his name was: MICHAEL THOMPSON. Decided to have the number BLOCKED!
Called twice and left a message. Caller said his name was Michael Thompson from Direct Investigations calling about a fraud case involving a Daniel Lopez. I don't know anyone by that name. Checked to see if they have a website and found one complete with bad grammer and misspellings. A whois search shows that website was registered April 2013 and starting around July 2013 a bunch of people start reporting this number. Pretty suspicious to me. Sounds like a scam. Blocking the number.
I got a call from Direct Investigations Michael Thompson about a Ryan Cross, said some kind of case # against him would have to go forward. Never heard of this person. Called back and spoke to Michael, asked to not be called anymore and said I don't know who that person is.
I also received a call from the same guy, saying he was investigating my brother and that my name was involved. This sounds like a company that tried to make a bogus collection on me for a Montgomery Ward Card that i has 20 years ago.
