These [***] called my number on 12-12-16 @ 2:04pm, left no message. I don't answer out-of-area calls because I know that 99% of them are just lowlife telemarketers.
This is a fake call trying to sound like it is Microsoft telling you they found a a virus on your computer.
Utter nonsense. Microsoft does not call anybody to warn about computer viruses, and they definitely do not call from rural Mississippi. Hang up immedistely, or bet yet just don't answer if you get a call from this number.
This guy named Edward with a thick Indian accent called me today at 3:08 pm telling me he is with TechWorldAmerica, a local company, which number is not local. I barely understood what he was telling me and my husband got on the phone and threatened him. He still did not back away. He continued telling me that he, working with Microsoft, saw a major virus on my computer and he was trying to get somewhere with the call and I wouldn't let him and hung up on him.
This number called my landline earlier this afternoon - I saw "Bishop, Laura" in the caller ID and thought it was a business call, so I picked up. RATS, it was a scammer, grrrrr.... A man with a thick accent answered, sounded almost like he was on drugs, and slurred out "I'm calling to tell you about your computer".
I yelled at him that he was a scammer and a criminal, and to never call me again. I despise these people so very, very much.
