I answered a call from this number this morning (against my better judgment, but since the call was from my area code I answered). The female caller said this was a "courtesy call" (I guess that is the new phrase for unsolicited annoying telemarketing calls) regarding the factory warranty expiring on my vehicle, and she wanted to know the mileage. I told her I was not interested and to remove me from her list. I then hung up.
I wonder if these callers are getting their "prospects" from automobile dealerships records, from the local/county offices that issue car tags/vehicle registrations, or from the lenders that handle the financing?
Called my cell phone trying to sell auto warranty for a vehicle that I do not and have never owned. I am on the DNC list, but either they don't care or are not bound by the DNC list.
